Attention to composition with group photos
When it comes to composition, group photos are often more challenging than photographing a single person. In my opinion, it becomes more challenging to stay creative as the number of people you need to capture in one frame grows.
Despite the challenge and the sometimes limited time you allow yourself for it, it turns out quite well. Personally, I find the environment to be decisive, even though it's obviously about the people being photographed.
In this post, two examples: one where the challenge remains limited (because the number of people is 4) and where the location, which was scouted beforehand, contributes to the result. Here, preparation was especially important.
The second example is already more challenging. But because I was able to spend some extra time on where I placed the people, I found the result successful. Especially since I don't photograph larger groups very often.
